Procedure for Admission
The entry points to the school are at classes 4, 5, 6 and 7. A limited number of seats may also be available for class 8. For admission to class 4, a child should be in the range of 8˝ to 9˝ years of age.
Admissions open in December and interviews are held between January and March. For parents residing abroad the school is open to considering their convenience for admission formalities.
The application form is available on payment of Rs. 500/- by cash or demand draft in favour of `Sahyadri School, K.F.I.’. The parent/guardian must fill in and return the application form together with the documents mentioned and a recent passport size coloured photograph of the child.

Please note that all mail by Courier must be sent only through “Professional Couriers” which has its office at Chakan, a nearby town.
On receipt of the completed application form, the date for admissions test and interview is intimated to the parents by phone, email or by courier. The child and both parents are required to be present at the school at 9.00 a.m. on the appointed day.
On arrival, the parents must contact the School Office for the day’s program. A registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- is to be submitted at the Accounts Section at this time.
The child’s academic skills are assessed through tests in English and Mathematics. Conversations with the parents and the child are exploratory in nature to provide us with a broad perspective of the child’s educational needs.
The admissions tests and interview conclude by 4 p.m. For those who come from distant areas, accommodation is available at the school Guest House given sufficient advance notice.
A limited number of scholarships are available for students in need of financial assistance. Offers of scholarship are subject to funds and may be partial or complete.
